A Bit More About How Little Ruddiger Came To Life

My inspiration for creating a children's book series centred around an encounter I had one day at an airport. While waiting for my flight, I noticed children of all ages eagerly observing the bustling environment around them. Their eyes sparkled with excitement as planes soared through the sky and airport personnel hurriedly carried out their duties. It struck me how fascinating this world must be for young minds, with its vibrant energy and endless possibilities. Inspired by their wonder, I began to imagine a cast of endearing characters, each representing a different aspect of the airport experience. Through their adventures, I wanted to share the magic of air travel, ignite children's imaginations, and teach valuable lessons about educating, friendship, and exploring new horizons. Then Little Ruddiger & The Great Big Wonderful Airport, a children's book series, was born.
